Regular Season Week 15 Recap
What's going on football fans. How is everyone doing. So did your favorite team win or lose. Started watching the Raiders with Desmond Ridder staring for them and Caleb Williams starting for the Bears. On MNF people of course we were well aware of the Caleb Williams start, but we will see what happens with Ridder and the Raiders. OK, for the most part the playoff teams are set as you can see the listings below. I guess there is the opportunity for some teams to change their standings. Of course, in the AFC all the talk is that the Bills will catch the Chiefs and take away the #1 overall seed. You know who doesn't care the Baltimore Ravens don't care. They believe as well as all of their fans that Lamar Jackson is the best QB this year. Pure stats only through 14 games Lamar has better stats than the QB in Buffalo. We shall see how things end up this year. Of course, there the other playoff teams also. And for us here at The Black QB Forum we are rolling with the brothas. We hope Patrick Mahomes, C.J. Stroud and Russell Wilson all play well in the playoffs and let the chips fall where they may.
Over in the NFC we rolling with the Eagles to come up outta the NFC. They are hands down the best team in the NFC and they have a Black QB. Jordan Love and the Packers will make some noise maybe even getting to the NFC Championship Game wouldn't that be awesome. Jayden Daniels and the Commanders are squeaking by in games and I'm not really banking on them to make any real noise in the playoffs, but hey they will be there. So, there are several other teams hoping/trying to make the playoffs with Black QBs such as the Cardinals and Seahawks well that division is still up for grabs as the final weeks are played out. good luck to all the teams still playing for those final playoff spots. We shall see how the final 3 games are played out.
1z --Kansas City Chiefs
2z --Buffalo Bills
3x --Pittsburgh Steelers
4z --Houston Texans
1x --Detroit Lions
2x --Philadelphia Eagles
5x --Minnesota Vikings

Who needs this game more. The Texans have a playoff spot, and the Chiefs are trying to hold onto the top spot in the Conference.
Well, this game will determine the division. We shall see what happens. Some Black-on-Black crime taking place here.
The Eagles are playing for that #1 spot in the Conference.
Well, do you really think the Bears can get a win against the Lions.
Who will the Browns start this week against the Bengals. I guess the real question is does it really matter who the Browns start.
This is one of those games where most players are playing for their careers because both teams are not going to the playoffs.
I think the Eagles continue their dominance in the NFC and win this game.
Kyler and the Cardinals probably won't make the playoffs but should play some interesting football.
Geno and crew need a win desperately really bad can they get a win against the Vikings..
This game has the 49ers winning no respect for Tua and the Dolphins.
This game here is probably a tune up for the playoffs still 3 weeks away, but you gotta play for something. If young Spencer Rattler starts good luck to him.
We got Penix Jr. starting this week for the Falcons what can the rookie do in his first start of the season.
So, after the week one loss to the Chiefs it took the Ravens a couple of weeks to get past that loss. They seem to be back to their normal feisty selves again. As the season progresses, we will track Lamar's performance and really for him it comes down getting to the Super Bowl, nothing else matters.
A 2nd year C.J. Stroud looks to continue his success and status as one of the leagues better QBs at his young age in his second year starting for the Houston Texans. Most were surprised by his success as a rookie and although listed as one of the leagues better QBs many still doubt he will live up to his rookie success. C. J. is on a mission to prove them wrong.
Jordan has solidified himself as a bona fide starting QB for the Green Bay Packers. After patiently waiting his turn behind Aaron Rodgers Jordan excelled in his first year as starter for the Packers and as always people are saying do it again. Of course Jordan is happy to oblige as he will compete for the NFC North Division title.
If there was ever a team and QB that needed to redeem themselves it's Jalen Hurts and his Eagles. The task ahead for Jalen is to prove his Super Bowl 57 appearance will not be his last. The team imploded last year losing to Baker Mayfield and the Bucs in the playoffs. Jalen is determined to get back to the NFC Championship game.
Well, the 60 Million Dollar man got hurt last weekend and will miss multiple games, maybe done for the season. Wow, what is going on in Big D. Well, we know that Dak and the Cowboys won't be going to the playoffs this season. And who knows after that.
Tua did return on the road against the division leading Bills. He lost the game and is still searching for that first victory back after the concussion. I'm sure it will come sometime this season. Maybe this weekend against the Rams. We shall see.

I believe the time has come for the emergence of the black quarterback to a dominant role in the NFL. I will touch on the history of the black quarterback and the racism they faced in the early years when the few qualified to play quarterback where asked more like forced to play another position. As recent as 2018 Lamar Jackson was the last player taken in the first round. QB's like Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen and Josh Allen who you can argue has performed better overall than Jackson, but no MVP as of yet. My point here is just 6 years ago the establishment of football was still skeptical about Lamar's ability to lead a team. I think he has shown that he can. This website will look at all of those things and more.
This website is dedicated to the preservation of the struggles that the Black quarterback has faced in the NFL and the emergence of the recent batch of young Black quarterbacks going on now. This website is dedicated to the preservation of the struggles that the Black quarterback has faced in the NFL and the emergence of the recent batch of young Black quarterbacks going on now. Doug Williams first black quarterback to start the Super Bowl and win. To the most recent Super Bowl where we made history with both teams starting black quarterbacks. Also the current 2023 draft which featured three black quarterbacks being taken in the first round picks 1,2 and 4, two of which will be starting for their respective teams. For me the first black quarterback I remember as a kid was Marlin Briscoe who was drafted by the Denver Broncos as a QB. Also players like Joe Gillam who won two Super Bowls as a back up on the Pittsburgh Steelers. This site will eventually list all of the black quarterbacks that have ever played in the NFL no matter what their impact may have had on the league.
This website is in the beginning stages of development and will be a testament to all the Black QB's that have paved the way for the rise of the Black QB's that are playing in the league right now.
